Courses means you can fast track your learning with 8 classes @ 2 classes per day x 1, 2 or 4 week. Our courses are preferred for many reasons:

Flowers, Fun & Healing Floristry Certificate Course
The Flowers, Fun & Healing Floristry Certificate Course includes Beginners, Intermediate to an Advanced level.
- You will complete a wide variety of designs, all of which you may take home after each day of class ready for sale or gift.
- You will first learn the importance of relaxing when enjoying practicing/handling your flowers, cleaning, and preparing them ready to create a lovely bouquet or posy, whether it may be the spiral-technique, cross-stem, open spray, or a quick modern grouped bouquet.
- You will also learn how to wrap the various styles of bouquets, with different papers and the latest trend may it be organic or environment friendly, using natural ribbons and grasses.
- You will learn every design necessary to work in a shop from a Corsage, Buttonhole, Wrist-spray, hair circlet or hairpiece; flower boxes, (cardboard for Hospitals), glass, ceramic, rustic, low and tall vases, traditional and contemporary designs; gift baskets for all occasions.
- During the latter part of gift baskets for all occasions.
- During the latter part of your course we will teach you some advanced designs; Church design, Corporate design for reception desks, coffee table and the Managing Directors Office.
- Wedding table and Guest table design, and of course you will learn how to wire a Bridal Posy or Trailing Bouquet. This is the design which may be the day you decide to enrol in your next Course, being the Wedding Specialist Course. The crème de la crème, satisfying all passions.

Our Course price includes all flowers, foliage, vases, containers and all florist sundries and Floristry Certificate.
To enrol you pay half cost and final balance one month before commencement. Please book as early as possible to ensure you have reserved the days/dates you prefer for your Course.
Our classes are personal one-to-one, “hands-on” training, we guarantee you will have the same teacher for your entire Course in a class of 3 max. students.

Petrol station, Post Office, Café, Supermarket, Bowling Club and Wisemans Ferry Hotel.
No public transport here, car/drive, it is 30 mins from Dural, 1 hour from
Central Coast and 1 hour from Sydney Harbour Bridge via M2.
Accommodation is at additional charge at The Retreat, Wisemans Ferry. You can book direct through the hotel yourself or on our website.
- We accept payment by Direct Deposit, or Cash to enrol.
- The deposit is half your Course cost and payable upon booking your Course. It is not refundable due to our small classes. Final payment must be made 1 month prior to commencement date. Receipts will be sent to you once payment is viewed in our bank account.
- Should you injure yourself while attending classes at the Academy of Floral Art, we do not accept responsibility for any injury or damages to personal property. Please Note: Always make sure you can see all your fingers before cutting stems or anything, never glance up while cutting.
- Should you become sick with perhaps, covid, or other illness, please advise us immediately. Flowers must be cancelled within 24 hours prior to your absence and must be paid for again upon your return.
- Flowers may be taken home at the end of each day or at the end of each week. Please bring a couple of shallow boxes and towels to keep your car seats dry.
- Should you wish to attend your course/workshop with a friend or relative please let us know to ensure you are placed in the same class.
- Please bring an A4 notebook with lines, a pen and pencil/rubber; hand towel, hand sanitiser is provided here, camera or iPad/iPhone to take photos of each design. Always make sure your background is blank,(no clutter); take more photos at home once the flowers open/bloom.
- Certificates will be issued on the last day of your Course.
