Advanced Wedding Specialist Certificate Course
Wedding Designs will begin with hand-bunched Bridesmaid’s bouquets, posies, modern grouped designs and open sprays. Many different styles of fully wired Bride’s Posies, Bridal Trails, Native Bouquets and Flower Girl Baskets and small Posies. You will learn how to do many styles of Buttonholes, Corsage, Hair Sprays, Garlands and Crowns. Best quality fresh cut flowers and Natives will be used in these classes, we do not use leftovers and all designs will be professional, completed and perfectly saleable after class. You will complete approximately 24 Designs during this Course, all of which you will take home after your last class for each week. You will learn Table designs for the Guest Tables and use ceramic and glass vases, modern and Country style centre-pieces and long narrow rectangular designs for the Bridal Table, Candleabras, Church Designs and Pew Decorations, including Wedding Cake Design.

Course: Available to students who are beginners and had no real floristry training. This course is usually done after completing the Commercial Floristry Certificate Course.
Recommended for: All students who have always had a passion for flowers and the art of designing arrangements either for fun or to perhaps find work in a shop or to run their own business. This Course will give you the ability and skills to be assertive and confident when accepting Weddings of any size in your Shop or business at home. Be prepared to practice what you have learnt in class, at home after your course as this way you keep all lessons fresh in mind with a clear understanding.

Advanced Wedding Specialist Certificate Course
At the Academy of Floral Art, Floristry Training College in our Commercial Wedding Specialist Course, students will learn how to do all Wedding Flowers and Wedding Bouquets, both fully-wired and stemmed designs; Bridal hair designs, Bridesmaid’s Bouquets and Open Sprays; Buttonholes for the Groom, Best Man and Groomsmen; Flower Girl posies, Flower Girl balls, Baskets of flowers/petals, Corsages, Cake decorations and the very latest in Wedding Table design, Guest table designs with Fairy Lights, Candles, Tea Lights and glass Fish-bowls and leaf-lined glass cubes and a wide variety of Reception and Guest Table arrangements, flowing Pedestals, Church Designs and Garlands.
The majority, or half of the Course focuses on Wedding flowers, being the Bride’s and Bridesmaid’s Bouquets of different styles and using a variety of flowers. This Commercial Wedding Specialist Course, will teach you the most modern, stylish and simple techniques in order to save you time on the day, when all the flowers need to perfectly arranged and thus, creating discussion among guests, which will give you the referral business which is worth its weight in gold and is a guarantee for your future success. All bouquets will be finished off in class – only the best quality ribbons and flowers will be used.
Advanced Commercial Wedding Specialist Course is also available for those who wish to reach a higher level in their profession and become more experienced and extend their creativity beyond the average level. During your training, you will gain more skills and confidence and therefore, you will be capable of accepting all Weddings professionally; achieving the best quality work and gaining success as a talented Wedding Specialist. Brides wanting superior or original creations in modern or traditional styles, will be thrilled with the stunning bouquets you design for them. This is a Diploma Course when the Commercial Wedding Specialist Certificate Course is completed first. Price is the same as advanced courses, i.e. Special Events & Themes, or Corporate Design.

Our Wedding Flower or Wedding Specialist Course will teach you everything you may need. This is a Commercial Certificate Course.
All Inclusive
Our Intensive Course price includes all flowers, foliage, vases, containers and all florist sundries and is a Advanced Commercial Wedding Specialist Certificate Course. To enrol you pay half cost and final balance one month before commencement. Please book as early as possible to ensure you have reserved the days/dates you prefer for your Course.
Our classes are personal one-to-one, “hands-on” training, we guarantee you will have the same teacher for your entire Course in a class of 4 max. students.

Frequently Asked Questions
- We accept payment by Direct Deposit, or Cash to enrol.
- The deposit is half your Course cost and payable upon booking your Course. It is not refundable due to our small classes. Final payment must be made 1 month prior to commencement date. Receipts will be sent to you once payment is viewed in our bank account.
- Should you injure yourself while attending classes at the Academy of Floral Art, we do not accept responsibility for any injury or damages to personal property. Please Note: Always make sure you can see all your fingers before cutting stems or anything, never glance up while cutting.
- Should you become sick with perhaps, covid, or other illness, please advise us immediately. Flowers must be cancelled within 24 hours prior to your absence and must be paid for again upon your return.
- Flowers may be taken home at the end of each day or at the end of each week. Please bring a couple of shallow boxes and towels to keep your car seats dry.
- Should you wish to attend your course/workshop with a friend or relative please let us know to ensure you are placed in the same class.
- Please bring an A4 notebook with lines, a pen and pencil/rubber; hand towel, hand sanitiser is provided here, camera or iPad/iPhone to take photos of each design. Always make sure your background is blank,(no clutter); take more photos at home once the flowers open/bloom.
- Certificates will be issued on the last day of your Course.
